I want to keep you safe. I want to wrap every part of you up in my arms as if that could protect you from yourself. I wish I could make you happy, even if only for the few seconds between breaths or a tiny moment in between all of your terrifying thoughts. 

Tell me what you need to hear, and I will say it, as many times as you need me to.

This show is virtually perfect for nights when you’re in need of both a laugh and something to make you feel better. Whether or not you consider the fact that their lives are made up, you can hopefully find solace in the fact that your life isn’t as miserable as theirs. At least you have that. 

I’d like to point out how unfair it is that people with talent have this undeniable power over those of us who do not. They have an impressive ability to woe the less remarkable. Their talent shines too bright and makes it impossible for you (or perhaps, not you, perhaps you are one of the lucky, talented individuals of which I speak, in this case - please, forgive me) to see any of their flaws. It’s frequently deceitful and always holds the potential for future discomfort. 

Even worse, is the fact that we (the less-than talented portion of the population) will let them (the dancers, the writers, the entrepreneurs) get the best of us every time, likely to never learn from our mistakes.
